Members at Ould Newbury may join one of several golf leagues, which play on a weekly basis.

Men's Leagues

2008 Opening Night Scramble: May 6 (tentative). Nine hole "Meet Your Team" scramble, 5:00 p.m. tee-off. Hors d'oeuvres and prize awards to follow.
Play begins Tuesday, May 13
Tee-off times: 5:30 p.m. deadline but players are encourage to tee off as early as 4:30 p.m. Tees #1, #4, and #7 will be the starting tees (see schedule).
Limited to regular members
$25 registration fee and $5 per playing date (payable whether or not you play) A separate $5 fee will be charged for the Scramble as well.
Sign-Up Deadline: Monday, April 14. Sign up sheet will be posted in club on Opening Day
New Members: Members will be accepted on a first sign-up basis according to the following formula:
- Previous member
- Repeats from previous sign-up sheet
- New applicants
Substitutes will be allowed every week.
Special team prizes will be awarded during the last three weeks.
Twilight Supper: You must sign up before you tee off. John will be presenting a variety of meals throughout the season.
CLOSING BANQUET & AWARD NIGHT: Tuesday, two weeks after final match.

Thursday nights beginning in April and going through September 2008.
Tee times are 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
9 holes, quota format
There is an 18 hole tournament / awards dinner (date to be announced)
Entry fee of $25 to join the league and $5 per night
Prizes are awarded each Thursday.

Monday nights, 4:00 - 5:30, beginning May 5 through July 2008.
Open to all women club members who have an established handicap of 45 or less.
Sign up sheets will be available on the Ladies' bulletin board, at the Ladies' League Opening Banquet, and in the Pro Shop.
First preference given to regular players, then to prior substitues, and finally to new applicants
Sign up deadline is April 27, 2008.
$25 per person per the season. Substitutes pay $10 for the season.
Format: Four-women teams who play a two-person best ball for 9 holes each week. Points are per hole - 1 for win, 1/2 for tie, 0 for a loss.
Teams will compete in 10 match play events.
Tee times will be scheduled for substitutes so that those not playing on a given week can still come to the course and play nine holes
A light dinner will be available every Monday after play. You must sign up before play.

The Tuesday Morning Ladies' League is open to members and to the public.
Members: $25 to join
Non-members: $40 to join, plus greens fees
Tee times are 8:30 a.m. Tuesday mornings
Play begins April 22 end ends October 7 ( players may join at any time throughout the season)
9-hole League follows the 18-hole tee times
