A Little about Ould Newbury
Ould Newbury Golf Club, a nine hole semi-private club in Newbury, Massachusetts, was officially opened for play on Labor Day, September 4, 1916. The basic philosophy of Ould Newbury is to provide an enjoyable golfing and social experience while trying to maintain a dues level that encourages membership in the club. We welcome all golfers and strive to provide activities for all interests.
The club officially opens for play around the second week in April and closes around Thanksgiving. The public is permitted to play on Monday through Thursday morning, but must play with a member as a guest on Thursday afternoons, Fridays, weekends and holidays.
Tee times are required for all players. Please call the Pro Shop at 978-465-9888 for tee times.
- Members may make tee times 7 days in advance
- Public may make tee times 2 days in advance.
The public is welcome to enjoy The Pub every day, as long as it is not closed for a private event!

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of long-time member, friend, and former Board Member, Roger Fuller, on April 5. While Roger did not take up golf until later in life, we were lucky he chose Ould Newbury to call his home course.
Roger was a lover of sports and was an avid player of baseball, basketball, and tennis. Roger taught in the Methuen High School Science Dept. for 34 years. While teaching at Methuen, he took up coaching Cross-Country, Indoor Track & Field, and Spring Track & Field. He had a legendary 46-year coaching career for Methuen High School and was a positive influence and mentor for many Ranger student athletes.
A celebration for life will be held at the Newburyport Elks on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 12:00 to 5:00PM.

Cant wait!!!
Cool photo!
Great shot Greg!
Due to the storm on Thursday, Clean-up Day has been canceled for today. Also, the course will not be opening for play this afternoon. The course conditions are very wet, and while we hope to open for play on Sunday, we will decide and send an email update at some point today.
But we do have some good news! The Pub will be open Saturday and Sunday from 11-4 regardless of the conditions of the golf course. Come grab a drink and enjoy food from a select menu this weekend. ... See MoreSee Less
